The Everett Music Initiative is ending the Fisherman’s Village Music Festival, the nonprofit’s flagship event that was first held in 2014.
The school, The Music Circle, teaches music in groups rather than individually, and puts on regular student performances throughout the city.
Judy Tuohy, also a city council member, will step down from the executive director role next year after 32 years in the position.
The Seagaze festival in downtown Everett will focus on shoegaze, post-punk and dream pop music.
The annual summer arts festival will be open in downtown Everett on Saturday and Sunday.
